Training and Consultation for Agencies
Learn clinical skills that you can apply immediately to:

  • difficult and "impossible" cases
  • non-traditional families
  • child/school problems
  • community-based interventions with poor families
  • chemically dependent family systems

Activate and expand agency strengths and develop skills for successful family-focused work.

The Center provides on-site training and consultation to outpatient and inpatient mental health and substance abuse programs, foster care agencies, family preservation programs, shelter organizations, and other providers of services to families. Areas of work include: engaging families in services, identifying and mobilizing family strengths, promoting change and growth in families, developing service delivery procedures and structures adapted to the work with families.

The Center also offers off-site trainings to agencies who would like to learn about Structural Family Therapy. Please contact us to see how we might collaborate with your organization for a specially tailored series of training opportunities for your staff.
